NEW! Two Lock Living History Cruise to the Historic Herkimer Home for Groups!
Join us on this new and exciting Living History Cruise especially for group tours! Arrive at the Historic Herkimer Home and tour the grounds and home of Revolutionary War hero General Nicholas Herkimer. Your costumed tour guide will explain the features of the home and answer all your questions. After the tour, enjoy a BBQ feast from Promiseland Farm & BBQ, and an 18th century chocolate making demonstration. We then depart on the Erie Canal for a 2-lock cruise through one of the most scenic and historic sections of the canal. Lock 17 is the tallest lift lock on the Erie Canal, and Lock 18 is one of the most historically correct locks. After the thrill of traveling through the locks, we end our cruise at our home docks in Herkimer for some specialty shopping at a New York themed retail store.
