Later board your bus for a 20 minute ride to the 18th century Georgian home of General Nicholas Herkimer, the hero of the Battle of Oriskany in 1777.
Marvel at the grandness of this Georgian style mansion that once stood on the colonial frontier. Then watch a show with costumed re-enactors telling the story of trade and transportation in the Mohawk Valley during the 17th and 18th centuries. The show includes Indian canoes and French Bateau’s along with musket and cannon firings, adding a little bang for your buck!!
